We went on a field trip today with a homeschool group to a nearby ice cream manufacturer. The boys enjoyed being with the other kids, seeing how the ice cream is made, and getting some freshly made samples. They were surprised it was not very cold when it is first made and weren't too impressed. They enjoyed the ice cream sandwiches we brought home and sampled later much more.
