The Joy of Reading

So maybe it brought me more joy than it did them! They were enjoying the book, but I was the excited one running through the house, grabbing the camera (and video camera). It was a couple of weeks ago that I stumbled across this scene. Of his own accord, Brandon had chosen a "real book" off his shelf, found Tyler, and started reading to him. Amazingly with all the commotion they ignored me and read the whole book. Teaching Brandon how to read has been my favorite part of homeschooling and one of the most rewarding tasks of parenting so far!
